Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our finance team in providing financial insights and analysis to drive business decisions. The successful candidate will have experience as a Finance Analyst and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports across various financial areas, including costs, variances, and profit.
- Maintain financial models and forecasting revenues, expenses, and other metrics.
- Support various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Ops, to provide financial guidance and insights.
- Conduct analysis on product margins, stock, and pricing, and investigate discrepancies.
- Evaluate the viability of new ideas, CAPEX investments, and projects.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain processes and optimize efficiency.
- Support the implementation and development of new systems and tools.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Experience as a Finance Analyst, with 1-2 years of experience in the role or highly experienced.
- CIMA/ACCA early stage or part-qualified and looking to progress studies.
- Experience in a multi-site setup, stock-based industry would be highly beneficial.
- Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft Excel and the Office package.
- Experience using Qlik Sense and Power Query would be beneficial.
- Solid knowledge of the workings of a Finance team, including best practice and working to strict deadlines.
- Ability to clearly express issues and proposed solutions in writing or verbally.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and qualification, plus a 12% profit-based bonus scheme. A hybrid role with 2 days in the office and flexible working hours and location. A 5% pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus banks, and the option to buy.
