Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in carbon markets.
  2. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track carbon market performance, providing insights to stakeholders across the Research and Development, Trading Desk, and Product teams.
  3. Provide analytical support for carbon offset and trading projects, including data modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
  4. Work closely with the Trading Desk to monitor market conditions and provide data-driven insights that inform trading strategies.
  5. Stay informed on policy and regulatory changes affecting carbon markets and assess their potential impact on the business and clients.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in carbon markets, environmental markets, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, market research, and carbon pricing modelling.
  3. A degree in relevant fields such as Environmental Sciences, Environmental Economics, Climate Policy, or similar disciplines. Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent work experience are advantageous.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualisation tools.
