About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control Team, you will play a vital role in reducing the risks of healthcare-associated infections and improving patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of infection prevention and control strategies across the trust
- Provide clinical advice and support to staff on infection prevention and control practices
- Investigate and resolve incidents of healthcare-associated infections
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of infection prevention and control
- Develop and deliver education and training programs for staff on infection prevention and control

Requirements
- 2 years' post-registration experience in an acute trust
- 1st level Registered Nurse/Midwife qualification
- Relevant teaching experience
- Diploma-level healthcare qualification
- Prepared to undertake a recognized diploma/degree infection prevention and control qualification
