Infection Prevention Specialist

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the well-established Infection Prevention and Control Team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality infection prevention and control services.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team to develop and implement effective strategies to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections. This will involve providing clinical advice, leadership, and support to patients, relatives, and staff, as well as participating in the introduction and practice of infection control activities.
Main Duties of the Job
- Contribute to the development and implementation of infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical advice and support to patients, relatives, and staff on infection control issues.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of healthcare-associated infections.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data to inform infection prevention and control strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the Infection Prevention and Control Team to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities
