Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Private Client Solicitor to join our esteemed Wealth Preservation team. This role is ideal for individuals with NQ-2PQE experience who are looking to make a significant impact within a supportive legal environment.
Our client, a prominent independent law firm, is dedicated to fostering a collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes loyalty and ongoing professional growth. As a member of the Wealth Preservation team, you will be entrusted with a variety of private client responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in taking will instructions, both independently and in collaboration with senior colleagues for more intricate matters.
- Prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney and engage with clients to facilitate their execution.
- Support initial inquiries related to general will matters, converting these into actionable instructions.
- Collaborate with partners and associates in drafting complex wills and related trust documentation.
- Participate in the review of the firm's Will Bank as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Work cohesively within the private client team to provide exceptional service to clients requiring wealth preservation assistance.
- Ensure efficient administration, billing, and cost recovery, meeting established targets for both individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular assessments of debts, work in progress, and disbursements, recognizing the importance of precise time recording.
- Contribute to the implementation of various business plans within the private client sector.
- Stay informed about legal developments and changes as part of your continuous professional development.
- Demonstrate a commitment to contributing to the business by participating in relevant events.

- Display meticulous attention to detail.
- Be adaptable and reliable, with the ability to take initiative.
- Maintain composure under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Be conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic.
- Quickly establish trust and respect with clients and colleagues.
- Have a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Be working towards or willing to pursue the STEP qualification.
