About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Associate to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As an Audit Associate, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, working closely with our experienced audit team to ensure that our clients receive an exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, perform, and complete the audit process for each assignment, ensuring that clients receive a high-quality service through effective resource management and liaison with relevant departments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at the client, ensuring that their expectations are exceeded and that they receive an efficient and proactive service.
  • Identify and agree on resolutions with client Partners or Directors, ensuring that they are up to date with the job's progress and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Aware of the commercial aspects of clients' businesses and their impact on our work, identifying opportunities for Evelyn Partners and highlighting them to the client.
  • Regularly discuss progress with the client, confirming that their expectations are met and that any hurdles are addressed.
Requirements
  • Studying for an accountancy qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA) and demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, with the ability to motivate staff to ensure best performance.
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work, with the ability to organise self and others effectively.
  • Ability to proactively monitor costs against budget for individual clients and to liaise with clients, directors, staff, and other professionals.
