About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit and Accounts Semi Senior to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and completing audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing statutory accounts, cashflow and budgets, and completing financial statements.

You will work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, proactively problem solving and delivering a good commercial awareness. You will also be confident in presenting work to managers, completing files to a high standard and underpinning audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.

In addition, you will mentor new starters, supporting their learning and development through knowledge sharing and setting an example as a hands-on member of the team.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a capable candidate who is ACA or ACCA qualified, studying or a finalist, with previous experience within accountancy practice. You will have knowledge of audit and general accounting, excellent work ethic and self-motivation, and a can-do attitude and proactive problem-solving skills.

You will be enthusiastic about professional development, eager to progress, and have good communication skills, both verbal and written. You will also have awareness of current affairs and commercial processes.
