Job Title: Safeguarding Specialist Nurse for Adults

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safeguarding Specialist Nurse for Adults to join our team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cystic fibrosis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with cystic fibrosis, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met and they receive the best possible care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Participate in clinical audits and research studies to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of cystic fibrosis care.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in cystic fibrosis care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and carers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
