Job Title: Head of Trading

Aston Charles Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Trading to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving performance and productivity, while maintaining technical excellence and delivering profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Broker Sales product teams to deliver the overall New Business budget
  • Define and drive sales activity, leveraging expertise to drive operational efficiency, insightful data analysis, and excellence in service delivery
  • Work in tandem with the Head of Strategic Brokers and Head of Regional Brokers to ensure alignment between sales operations and overall sales strategies
  • Develop strategies and initiatives to improve broker service experience, including regularly reviewing broker feedback and implementing required changes
  • Embed CRM usage into the team to ensure consistency and improved capability
  • Drive people-focussed leadership accountability and support Underwriter development via mentoring and training

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within the General Insurance industry in a senior leadership team
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to robustly manage performance
  • Understanding of project management techniques and previous success in the management of both internal and external partners
  • Credible, engaging, and collaborative ambassador of the company, with the ability to cultivate long-term relationships within the industry
