About the Role:
Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our Environment business. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality systems in our project portfolio and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project teams and functional supporting teams to ensure compliance with our Business Management System (BMS) and client requirements.
- Identify non-compliances, innovations, and good practices to drive continual improvement.
- Lead the internal audit process, coordination, and preparation for external audits, including client-based audits and accreditation assessments.
- Ensure thorough reviews of our systems, alignment with ISO standards, legal requirements, and certification body standards.
About You:
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth understanding of ISO standards and other relevant quality standards in construction. Strong auditing skills, including internal and external audit experience. Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities. Effective communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK construction regulations and standards.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring quality in all aspects of construction projects.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve quality objectives.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Strong Work Ethic: A strong commitment to ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
- Educational Background: Diploma or associate degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management). Relevant certifications such as CQI & IRCA Certified ISO : Internal Auditor.
- Professional Experience: Experience in quality management and auditing within the construction industry. Proven track record of successful QMS maintenance.
- CSCS Qualification.
- Office expertise.
- UK Driving License.
