Freight Coordinator Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Freight Coordinator to join their team in Southampton. As a key member of the operations team, you will work alongside experienced professionals in Air, Ocean, and Road freight.

Your primary focus will be on assisting in freight operations, including planning, invoicing, scheduling, quoting, customs, imports, exports, and managing freight movements from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate freight operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and logistics companies
  • Manage freight movements, including planning, scheduling, and tracking
  • Process invoices and payments for freight services
  • Assist with customs clearance and compliance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in Air, Ocean, or Road Freight operations
  • Knowledge of Import and Export operations
  • Knowledge of Customs operations
  • Experience dealing with Dangerous/Hazardous goods
