The Renal Unit at NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker to enhance our committed team in providing exceptional care for patients undergoing dialysis.

This dynamic unit accommodates approximately 60 patients weekly in a 15-bay setting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with registered nurses and renal nurse practitioners, playing a vital role in patient care.

The position includes specialized renal training and support for achieving SVQ qualifications, ensuring the candidate develops the necessary competencies for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in renal-specific training programs.
  • Support the healthcare team in maintaining a safe and effective environment for patients.
