Interior Health Authority is seeking a Casual Nursing Unit Assistant to join their team. This position involves rotating shifts during the day and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Prioritize, process, and transcribe physicians' orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Act as a liaison between healthcare teams, facilitating effective communication and ensuring seamless patient care.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing wait times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, inputting data into relevant systems as required.
- Perform various administrative duties, including data entry, record-keeping, and timekeeping.
- Relay messages to appropriate personnel, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Typing test of 40 wpm or greater.
- Nursing Unit Clerk Certificate or equivalent.
- Resume and cover letter stating availability and relevant experience.
