Job Description: Become a vital member of our innovative team at the Silverstone Facility as a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer (Thermal). In this role, you will work alongside a talented group of engineers to design and optimize aerodynamic thermal systems for our racing vehicles, ensuring peak performance through cutting-edge design and analytical techniques. At Andretti Global, we cultivate an environment of creativity and excellence, where every contribution is recognized and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cooling solutions for powertrain, brakes, electronics, and more.
  • Evaluate CFD and wind tunnel data to improve aerodynamic efficiency.
  • Analyze aerodynamic structures surrounding the race car.
  • Formulate and execute aerodynamic thermal development strategies.
  • Implement innovative methods to boost the efficiency of aerodynamic processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance performance through shared insights.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar position within the motorsport sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of aero thermal management for powertrain, brakes, electronics, etc.
  • Strong background in numerical methods and fluid dynamics.
  • Familiarity with CFD thermal techniques and result interpretation.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA).
  • Ability to plan and manage projects effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
  • Competence in MS Office applications.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and open team culture.
