Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and contractual support to our project teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that our company's interests are protected.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring that our company's terms and conditions are clearly understood and agreed upon.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with our project teams to develop and implement commercial strategies, ensuring that our company's goals and objectives are met.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial quantity surveying role, preferably in the utilities, power, energy, construction, civil engineering, M&E, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and contract law, including NEC3/4 contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in using commercial software packages.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and attend meetings as required.
