Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Operations Manager to join our team at Yodel. As a key member of our Transport Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Transport Admin Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative processes, including driver scheduling and vehicle management, to ensure compliance with driving regulations.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including delivery schedules and customer service metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Shift Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the Transport Team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role in the Transport sector, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of driving legislation, including operators licensing and WTD, and a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) would be an advantage.
