Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Transport Team Manager to join our team at YODEL in Hatfield. As a key member of our Transport Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Transport Admin Office.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services. Your key tasks will include:
- Managing administrative processes, including driver hours and absence tracking, and ensuring cover is in place.
- Ensuring compliance with our scheduling system.
- Communicating effectively with drivers to ensure they have the information they need to perform their duties.
- Delivering operational and customer service key performance indicators.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in a similar role in the transport sector and be able to work in a fast-paced office environment. You will be highly organized, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to manage your workload and multitask. You will also be a confident communicator and team player, able to work effectively with drivers and managers alike.
