A prestigious international company is seeking a highly skilled Head of Employment to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned employment lawyer to take on a challenging role with plenty of scope for growth and development.

This position reports directly to the General Counsel and is responsible for leading a team of employment lawyers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the HR Department and other business functions on a broad range of employment-related matters.
  • Advising all levels of the business across EMEA on employment law matters, including salary, discipline, counseling, and termination.
  • Developing and implementing legally sound policies and programs in all areas of labor and employment law.
  • Advising on the company's relationship with Works Councils and/or Trade Unions.
  • Managing external counsel relationships and budgets.
  • Staying up-to-date on employment law trends and developments to provide expert advice to the business.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Extensive experience working with employment matters across EMEA.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex employment law cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and think strategically.
