Block Manager Opportunity

Dove and Hawk is seeking an experienced Block Manager to join their Property Management team in North London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day reactive works, including arranging contractors and service providers.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare thorough reports to identify scope of works needed.
  • Issue Works Orders to contractors and ensure completed works meet quality and budget standards.
  • Supervise existing service contracts and providers, including landscape, gardening, and maintenance services.
  • Prepare and implement planned works and maintenance programs within budget.
  • Draft and issue S20 consultation notices for major works.
  • Liaise with 3rd party professionals, such as Surveyors and Building Contractors.
  • Assist with setting service charge budgets and provide feedback and recommendations.
  • Attend meetings with Lessees and Residents, taking notes and following up on action points.
  • Supervise 3rd party staff and agencies providing caretaking and concierge services.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in Block Management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of risk assessments and ability to understand reports.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £42,000.
  • A Monday to Friday working schedule, 9am - 5:30pm.
