Job Title: Taxation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team at Rapid Recruitment Services. As a Taxation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to clients, preparing tax returns, and managing tax-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax advice to clients, including preparation of tax reports and memorandums
• Manage tax-related projects, including tax returns and computations
• Offer tax planning and structuring advice to clients
• Advise clients on UK residence, domicile matters, and pre-arrival tax planning opportunities
• Provide inheritance tax advice and capital gains tax advice
• Manage the processing of tax returns for the firm
• Be able to manage and review work undertaken by staff in the team
• Assist clients with HMRC tax enquiries and other tax matters
• Act as primary contact for a portfolio of UK and international clients
• Provide regular training on tax matters to staff
• Control cost budgets, meet reporting timetables, and prepare key client reporting documents
• Be able to write articles on specific topics for publication
• Be able to undertake presentations in-house as well as on webinars or at international meetings

Requirements:

• CTA or ATT qualified
• At least three years of relevant experience
• Good technical skills and knowledge in UK tax (UK and International aspects)
• Ability to manage and review work undertaken by staff in the team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
