Job Title: Equity Derivatives Lawyer

Barclays is seeking a highly skilled Equity Derivatives Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our Structured and Strategic Equity Derivatives business, you will provide legal support for our clients across a range of equity-linked products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on transactions, regulatory change, and strategic priorities for our Structured and Strategic Equity Derivatives business.
  • Provide legal support for our clients across a range of equity-linked products, including equity derivatives, share buybacks, and margin loans.
  • Develop and implement best practice legal strategies to manage compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with our business units to ensure that our activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in applicable laws, rules, and regulations that may impact our business.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience gained in either private practice or in-house in a finance legal team.
  • Strong knowledge of equity-linked products and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
