Job Title: Head of CDM/ Principal Designer Services Lead

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong CDM/ PD to lead our team and contribute to its development and overall success.

About the Role:

As Head of CDM/ Principal Designer Services Lead, you will be responsible for offering a range of CDM/ PD/ H&S services to clients across the built environment. You will ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date. You will also prepare health and safety files and construction phase plans where required, carry out site inspections, and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer a range of CDM/ PD/ H&S services to clients across the built environment.
  • Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
  • Prepare health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
  • Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
  • Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
  • Manage a team of H&S & CDM professionals.
  • Development of existing team and recruitment for new consultants.
  • Overall responsibility for department P&L, forecasting, invoicing, tendering etc.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
  • Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
  • Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
