Job Title: Head of CDM/ Principal Designer Services Lead

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong CDM/ PD to lead our team and contribute to its development and overall success.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for offering a range of CDM/ PD/ H&S services to clients across the built environment, ensuring that pre-construction information is readily available for each project, and preparing health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer a range of CDM/ PD/ H&S services to clients across the built environment.
  • Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
  • Prepare health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
  • Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
  • Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
  • Manage a team of H&S & CDM professionals.
  • Development of existing team and recruitment for new consultants.
  • Overall responsibility for department P&L, forecasting, invoicing, tendering etc.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
  • Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
  • Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
