Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated HR People Consultant to join our team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will work closely with the HR Manager, taking on a generalist approach to manage the daily operations of the HR function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the operational effectiveness and growth of the HR department, collaborating with senior management
- Engage in employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes
- Manage employee absence effectively
- Conduct induction training for new employees, ensuring all onboarding materials are current
- Oversee all HR administrative tasks, including onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support recruitment and selection efforts at the site
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a similar HR advisory role
- CIPD qualification or progress towards it is preferred
- Experience in the FMCG, logistics, or supply chain sectors is advantageous
- Strong relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload
