About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Worker at Rochcare. As a Senior Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support residents with all aspects of their health, social, and emotional well-being, including personal care, mobility, medication, continence, nutrition, and hydration.
  2. Ensure residents appear well-kept in their personal care, hygiene, and clothing.
  3. Provide mental and physical stimulation to residents through conversation and engagement in activities.
  4. Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care and support.
  5. Write, update, and review individual care plans, providing personal care in line with them.
  6. Liaise with the manager and care team to report areas of good practice and any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • A kind, patient, and compassionate nature.
  • Good English, numeracy, and writing skills.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • A social care qualification, such as Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • 1 year of experience in a care setting.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience as a senior carer or team leader in an adult care setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate between departments.
