Job Title: People Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Advisor to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in delivering professional HR support to our Hub managers across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to line managers on Employee Relations (ER) cases, including Misconduct, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Capability, and Performance issues.
  • Monitor absence and work with managers to take appropriate action.
  • Design and deliver training programs for managers to enhance their HR skills.
  • Assist managers in interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Make informed decisions that balance business needs with employee well-being.

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proven experience in HR, with a strong commercial outlook and continuous improvement philosophy.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and display excellent judgment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and alone.
  • Flexibility to support the operational demands of the role.
