About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. As a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing the design of surface and foul water drainage, highways, earthwork strategies, and utilities for new developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Mentor and guide junior staff to develop their skills and expertise.
- Oversee the design of infrastructure projects, including surface and foul water drainage, highways, earthwork strategies, and utilities.
- Work closely with developer clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in development infrastructure design, gained at a UK consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of relevant software, including Civil 3D, PDS, Site 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, etc.
- Working understanding of sectional agreements, including S278, S38, S104, S106, S185, etc.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
