Children's Nurse Job Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a reputable and award-winning recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Nurse to work in Milton Keynes on a full-time basis.

The salary for this permanent position is £37,512 per annum.

Shifts: Various shifts, 40 hours per week, full-time. The post holder is required to work with service users from a holistic perspective, taking into account a variety of complex needs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a caseload of patients with a diagnosed Learning Disability or ASD. Complete initial assessments, care planning, and follow-up procedures.
  • Participate in processes to assist patients at risk of self-harm/suicide, in line with NICE Guidance.
  • Attend monthly supervision with a line manager and complete yearly EDR to assess targets, progression, and learning objectives.
  • Provide awareness training and advice for staff on the care of patients with a Learning Disability.
  • Attend and participate in weekly Integrated Mental Health Team Referrals meetings to ensure an integrated approach is maintained when discussing at-risk patients.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered.
  • Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) qualification.
  • Recent UK Nursing experience.
