At Culina, we foster a culture of success, where our team members are appreciated, challenged, and motivated. We are currently seeking a Flexible HGV Class 1 Operator to join our dedicated team on a casual basis, covering additional shifts and holidays as needed.


Compensation:
£155.31 per shift

Shift Details:
Casual shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Report to the transport office at the beginning of each shift.
2. Ensure accurate and complete documentation is maintained.
3. Follow and comply with company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health, safety, and hygiene.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of operations within the transport division.
5. Uphold a high standard of conduct and appearance.
6. Manage working hours in accordance with the Road Transport Directive.
7. Adhere to tachograph regulations consistently.
8. Conduct daily vehicle inspections as per company guidelines.
9. Oversee the unit and trailer, including temperature monitoring.
10. Deliver goods to customer locations, maintaining professionalism at all times.
11. Promptly report any issues related to delivery schedules, delays, or load discrepancies.
12. Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the transport office post-delivery.
13. Maintain regular communication with the transport office and customer service teams.
14. Follow site-specific procedures at each delivery location.
15. Complete defect reports as necessary.
16. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Valid LGV Class C+E Licence and current DCPC.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Methodical and adaptable approach to tasks and training.
- Reliable and conscientious work ethic.
- Professional demeanor and approachability.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Capacity to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
