Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Casual HGV Class 1 Operator to become a part of our dedicated team. This role is designed to accommodate additional shifts and cover for holidays as needed.


Compensation:

Shift Rate: £155.31 per shift.


Shift Details:

Casual shifts available.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to the transport office at the beginning of each shift.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of operations within the transport division.
  • Manage working hours in compliance with the Road Transport Directive.
  • Oversee the unit and trailer, including conducting temperature checks.
  • Deliver products to customer locations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Promptly report any issues related to delivery times, delays, or load discrepancies.
  • Ensure that proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the transport office post-delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Transport Office and Customer Services.
  • Follow site-specific procedures at each delivery location.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of an LGV Class C+E Licence and a valid DCPC.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Exhibit an adaptable and methodical approach to work and training.
