Design Manager Role Overview

RGB Recruitment is seeking a skilled Design Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, managing external and internal design teams, and ensuring compliance with building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with site teams, senior management, consultants, and architects to effectively manage the design process
* Manage external and internal design teams to provide adequate, complete, and compliant information
* Support Net Zero requirements, BREEAM, Digital Strategy, and MMC to ensure key design deliverables are tracked and compliant
* Manage designers to provide information to meet the design programme and pass client approval gateways

Requirements:

* Experience in design management, preferably in a construction or engineering sector
* Strong communication and project management skills
* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
* Knowledge of building standards and regulations
