Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Continence and Urology Service, you will play a vital role in providing specialist care to patients, their families, and carers across the West Cheshire Footprint.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting continence assessments, implementing and evaluating treatment programs, and providing training to patients and their carers. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct continence assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement and evaluate treatment programs to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide training and education to patients and their carers on continence management and bladder health
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Participate in the development and implementation of continence care policies and procedures
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Practitioner who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong understanding of continence care and bladder health, as well as experience working with patients with complex needs.

Essential criteria include:

  • Registered General Nurse part 1 of the NMC register
  • Evidence of recent training in continence care and bladder health

Desirable criteria include:

  • Evidence of working towards or hold a Degree in Professional Practice
  • Student Mentorship experience
