About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Sports Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering sports to young people and a positive mindset to inspire children through sport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sports lessons to pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs
  • Support classroom activities and provide additional support to students as needed
  • Develop life-long positive attitudes to sport, physical activity, and healthy living
Requirements
  • Relevant experience delivering sports to young people
  • Positive mindset to inspire children through sport
  • Resilient, empathetic, patient, and able to work with vulnerable adults
