Job Summary:

Advance HE is seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the timely and accurate delivery of financial operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery and execution of high-quality, compliant accounting inputs and outputs.
  • Report timely and accurate financial metrics to stakeholders.
  • Line manage six finance operations personnel and work closely with two Finance Business Partners to ensure effective, efficient, and customer-focused design, adoption/usage, and continuous improvement of relevant systems and associated workflows.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, streamline systems and procedures, and optimize digital approaches.
  • Liaise with key external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational and financial performance is developed to maximize return on investment and operational delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong clear communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and experience of financial operations and management of operations, including project-based accounting.
  • Experience in line management of multiple employees and leading change, leading people through change and problem-solving.
  • Experience of VAT returns (Partial Exemption VAT advantageous) and external Audit and management of.
  • Strong skills in using MS Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI, and Teams.
  • Qualified accountant, or studying final stages.
