Position Overview
This role presents a unique opportunity to become a vital part of our team, dedicated to providing exceptional horticultural services across various green spaces managed by the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on supervising the upkeep and preparation of diverse grounds and garden areas, including those at care facilities, sheltered accommodations, and communal environments.

You will be tasked with the daily management of a skilled team of horticultural operatives, overseeing their tasks and ensuring the effective delivery of services by the Parks and Landscapes Team.

Critical to this role will be the execution of service schedules, the enhancement of our outdoor spaces, and inspiring your team to achieve the highest standards of quality.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring substantial hands-on experience in horticulture and grounds maintenance, complemented by a horticultural qualification at least at NVQ Level 2, along with a solid understanding of plant species.

A valid UK driving licence is essential, as well as possession of PA1 and PA6 certifications. A thorough understanding of health and safety protocols and risk management in horticultural settings is also required.
