Job Description

Carbon60's client within the chemicals industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Capital Project (CAPEX) Procurement Lead to support the team and drive success in the project procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project procurement strategies and approaches for multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts align with project delivery and contracting strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships to optimize project outcomes.
  • Provide regular reporting on procurement performance to leadership teams.
Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in project procurement within industrial or construction projects, ideally within the private sector.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Pharma, Life Sciences, or Chemicals.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing major engineering/contractor firms.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, tools, and processes.
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Technical field, or MCIPS certification.
