Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking to support education?


Protocol Education is seeking passionate Cover Supervisors to join our team, working across various secondary schools. These roles offer both full-time, long-term commitments as well as part-time flexible contracts and daily supply options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a range of subjects by utilizing materials prepared by classroom teachers (lesson planning and delivery are not required).
  • Effectively manage classroom behavior in accordance with the school's established policies.
  • Build positive relationships with students, serving as a role model and ensuring they remain engaged in their tasks.
  • Collaborate with the cover manager and other staff to ensure the seamless operation of the school day in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Represent Protocol Education with professionalism and punctuality.

Ideal Candidates Will:

  • Possess at least 6 months of experience in an educational environment.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young individuals.
  • Have a solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices (an up-to-date DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred but not mandatory at this stage).
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be considering a future career in teaching or education.

All supply staff are compensated on a PAYE basis, ensuring correct tax and National Insurance contributions without any administrative fees deducted from your earnings. All applicants will be contacted to discuss their suitability and invited to register with Protocol Education.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future.
