Recycling and Waste Management Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to lead and supervise a team of operatives in a busy recycling and waste management facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of operatives to ensure efficient and effective site operations.
- Operate a Wheeled Loading Shovel (essential) and, when needed, a 360 Wheeled Excavator (desirable) to move materials and manage site operations.
- Monitor the plant's operational performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Communicate effectively with site management to report on performance and any operational issues.
- Assist with site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role, preferably in recycling, waste management, or a similar environment.
- Experience operating a Wheeled Loading Shovel (essential).
- Experience with a 360 Wheeled Excavator (desirable).
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends.
- Competitive hourly rates: £80 per hour (Monday to Friday), £17.25 per hour (Saturday), £20.70 per hour (Sunday).
- Full-time, permanent position with 47.5 hours per week over various shifts.
