Purchasing Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our team at Flowtech. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate stock to sales and works orders
  • Monitor component orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate with sales team regarding availability against demand
  • Control daily cycle counts
  • Assess and monitor supplier acknowledgement performance
  • Progress and monitor purchase orders
  • Maintain operating system information
  • Control customer returns
  • Drive warehouse KPIs
  • Arrange logistics of shipments and monitor performance
Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills, including intermediate level Excel and MS Office
  • Experience with operating systems, ideally Sage Line 200, with knowledge of B.O.M / Works Order
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • A strategic thinker able to act on initiative
  • Confident in tackling problems
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to develop in role and learn new skills
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
