Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the Director, Finance, and will play a key role in driving performance and generating value across our European operating businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and high-quality financial analysis and forecasting to support business planning and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support annual business planning and valuation processes
  • Prepare quarterly results presentations for senior management
  • Review and analyze financial reporting submissions from operating assets
  • Develop a thorough understanding of operating businesses to explain performance and strategic issues
  • Assist in onboarding and integration of new assets into Brookfield's finance and accounting processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes across the operating platform
  • Perform strategic ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required

Requirements

  • Recognized professional accounting designation (e.g. ACA or ACCA)
  • 1-2 years PQE work experience in a finance or accounting function
  • Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development
