Business Lecturer Job Opportunity

Scholars School System, a leading national independent higher education provider, is seeking a highly qualified Business Lecturer to join our Manchester campus. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for delivering interactive lessons and providing academic support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met.
  • Participate in staff development activities and peer observations.
  • Develop, update, and improve course materials as needed.
  • Strengthen student performance, growth in undergraduate offers, staff development, and maintenance of workplace culture and good practices.

Requirements:

  • Masters' in Business Management or related subject.
  • Teaching qualification or adequate teaching experience, with an understanding of lesson planning and scaffolded teaching.
  • UK teaching experience (Minimum one-year experience).
  • Experience in HE Business courses.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering a high-quality education experience.
  • Experience supervising student work, providing support and feedback, and ensuring student engagement.

Benefits:

  • Basic hours are 9am to 6pm on site.
  • Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Up to £5k annual incentives pro-rata given quarterly on meeting KPIs upon successful probation period.
  • 3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs.
