Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of our premises. This role involves working on weekends with shifts available as follows:
  • Friday & Saturday: 23:00 - 11:00
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 - 23:00

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring access control for staff, guests, and contractors
  • Conducting foot patrols to prevent and identify theft
  • Handling incidents with professionalism, including thorough searches
  • Addressing customer inquiries and requests
  • Keeping accurate records through both digital and manual systems

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • The capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations
  • Experience in a customer service role, preferably within the security sector
  • A verifiable five-year work history with references
  • Ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

Desirable Skills:
While not mandatory, the following would be advantageous:
  • Prior experience in a similar security role

Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year in a security role (required)

Licenses/Certifications:
  • SIA License (required)
  • CCTV License (desirable)
  • Driving License & Vehicle

Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent

Compensation:
£12.00 per hour

Expected Hours:
24 hours per week
