Job DescriptionJob Title: Facilities Estimator - Cost Management Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Estimator to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our Commercial and Supply Chain team, you will play a crucial role in managing change and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the estimation of costs for new assets and changes to existing assets and services
- Work proactively across teams to ensure effective change management and safe operation of facilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior colleagues and stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on cost management and estimation
- Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals for new projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- FM industry experience, including cost and/or commercial management
- Experience preparing cost estimates and developing business cases
- Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to influence senior colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to understand complex information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong IT systems and Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Quantity Surveying, engineering, or equivalent qualification
