About the Role

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced USV Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the technical uptime of our Uncrewed Service Vessels (USVs) and electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) in the European and African region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small site-based team for project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations, vessel and equipment maintenance, and technical fault finding.
  • Work hands-on with remote equipment underpinning the transition from conventional survey to remote and uncrewed survey.
  • Work in a stable rotation at project sites maintaining and servicing the vessel, onboard eROV systems, launch and recovery equipment, and vessel-mounted survey sensors.
  • Provide daily progress reports on QHSE and operational performance to clients and internal project management teams.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior technical management role, such as ROV Superintendent, Geophysical Technical Coordinator, Chief Engineer, or Party Chief.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical distribution, survey equipment, ROV systems, and marine engineering.
  • Experience of logistical project mobilisations, operating planned maintenance systems, operating fault logging systems, and operating QHSE systems.
  • Ability to work shift patterns up to 4 weeks in length on sites across Europe and Africa.
