Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality void management service that meets top quartile national key performance indicators.
  • Ensure that all void properties are maintained to exceptional standards.

  • Lead the development and execution of service strategies within the voids service.
  • Manage performance and budgetary aspects of the service area.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field, along with a relevant professional certification in surveying or maintenance (e.g., CIOB or RICS) and a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety. Continuous professional development is essential.

In this pivotal management role, we are looking for an individual with substantial experience in contract management and a proven track record of operational excellence.

You should demonstrate expertise in managing voids to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, minimizing void losses, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of housing legislation, regulations, policies, and practices related to void management.

Working collaboratively across our councils and with partners in the public, private, and voluntary sectors, we strive to provide outstanding services to our residents.
