We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children and Young People Officer to join our team at St Teresa's Catholic Voluntary Academy.
About the RoleThis is a permanent role working 7.5 hours per week, term time only. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting parents to fulfill their legal responsibilities, ensuring children receive an education appropriate to their age, aptitude, and ability.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with key staff to ensure attendance data management systems are 'fit for purpose' and run efficiently.
- Monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, analyzing data to identify areas of concern.
- Work closely with pupils, staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to reduce levels of absence and address safeguarding issues.
- Liaise with local authority agencies to ensure punctuality and attendance meet national standards.
