The role involves delivering a variety of specialized psychological strategies aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of teams and individuals within the organization, thereby fostering a psychologically informed approach to healthcare.

Collaboration with the Mental Health Lead and the Clinical Lead Psychologist is essential in addressing the diverse inquiries for consultation and intervention that arise within the service.

Key responsibilities include providing expert advice and consultation to multidisciplinary healthcare professionals regarding the psychological care of patients, as well as addressing individual and team wellbeing.

Additionally, the role encompasses the training and education of colleagues within the organization and, when applicable, staff from other services and agencies to advance psychological understanding and implement trauma-informed interventions.
