Responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
In this role, you will guide clients through their cloud transformation journey, assisting in the development of resilient and scalable platforms for essential services. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of agile cloud infrastructures, addressing all aspects from architecture to operational management, prototyping, and testing. You will have unique opportunities to expand your knowledge and leadership skills in advanced areas such as infrastructure-as-code, DevOps methodologies, containerization, platform-as-a-service, CI/CD, and microservices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Current Security Clearance is mandatory
- Ability to provide clear and actionable solutions to complex business problems
- Skilled in conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Evaluating applications for cloud migration based on technical feasibility
Technical Proficiencies:
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Cloud automation and CI/CD practices
- DevOps methodologies and toolchains
- Management of Linux and Windows systems using automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, and PowerShell
