About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our specialist security team at BT Group. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and supporting the infrastructure and platforms that form the foundations of our vital services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure requirements.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage cloud security controls to ensure compliance with BT Group's security policies.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based services.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and scalability.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
