Main Responsibilities:
  • Enable individuals and families to access temporary refuge accommodation and provide them with the necessary support to stay safe and develop positive relationships.
  • Focus on delivering outcomes for families and individuals in the Stockport refuge and dispersed accommodation, working innovatively and assertively where necessary.
  • Facilitate support plans that are SMART in application and act as a lead professional to coordinate interventions where required.
  • Maintain and update records in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and families, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of the issues surrounding domestic abuse and the ability to provide trauma-informed support.
